Consultores Asset Management is among the few world-class independent fund managers in Argentina and is one of the oldest and most respected investment companies.

Founded in 1990, Consultores Asset Management (“Consultores”) is an Argentine corporation that aims to achieve superior performance over the long term by investing in emerging markets globally, with special emphasis in Latin America.[1]

During the 1990s, the Consultores Portfolio Management team had the privilege of being the investment manager for George Soros and other sophisticated investors in Latin America.

Consultores’ expertise in the portfolio management business
rests on three pillars:
- Our investment philosophy
- A team of talented and committed people
- A unique background in the booms and the dooms of emerging
markets over time.

In addition, Consultores’ Corporate Management team organized and managed four important publicly-held companies: IRSA, Alto Palermo, Cresud and BrasilAgro. Our management also organized and advised the group of investors that took control of Banco Hipotecario during its privatization in 1999.[2]

The commitment, professionalism, and motivation of our managers have strongly contributed to the success of Consultores.
